Speech impediment/accent With military?

I want to do mp it says be able to speak distinct English but I sound different then most Idk if it's a impediment or accent because none of my doctors said it was an impediment but the thing is besides for sounding funny and friends laughing because sound funny I haven't had any one including complete strangers not be able to understand me will this be a problem
